What are the Bellows Actuator Selection Criteria?
- Required force: Determine the force (kN) the bellows actuator should generate.
- Required stroke: If the required stroke is known, the actuator's operating height should not exceed the recommended value.
- Available space for gas springs: Analyze the minimum space required for installing the bellows actuator, taking into account the minimum and maximum working height.
- Available air pressure: The air pressure should be specified.
- Angle of travel: Bellows actuators have an angular range of up to 30°. However, you must check the following: (1) The highest point of the actuator must be below the maximum height. (2) The lowest point must be above the minimum height.
